Each year, HiiBF unites 500 beers and ciders from around the globe with thousands of craft lovers. They come to discover what American and the rest of the world breweries have to offer.

FOOD TRUCK PAVILLION
The chefs behind these 20 mobile bistros are geared up to satisfy even the most discerning taste buds. This year’s line-up to date features NY’s hottest food vendors like American icon Walters Hot Dogs, a Westchester institution since 1919, Melt Mobile NYC who make crazy delicious grilled cheese sandwiches, Pizza Luca will make your mouth water for some good old pizza Naples’ style, Wafels & Dinges returns for the 4th year bringing the best Belgian-style waffles, Mac Truck NYC will satisfy any MacHeads one scoop at a time, and our newest truck - The Red Hook Lobster Pound, coming in hot this year with the freshest lobster rolls known to mankind. Plus, Bona Bona will be scooping imaginative flavored ice creams.
Half Time and several of the breweries have planned a variety of activities and contests including the Second Annual Sam Adams Stein Hoisting Contest with one winner in both Men's and Women's categories. New for this year are Adult Giant Tricycle Races and a few more cool activities plus standards like Corn Hole and Can Jam.

Where is Harbor Island International Beer Festival?
The 4th Annual Harbor Island International Beer Festival is held at Harbor Island Park, located in Mamaroneck, NY at the intersection of Boston Post Road and Mamaroneck Avenue. The park is divided into sections and the Beer Festival is held along the beach access side on the eastern most section of the park. Look for the high peak tents in the park and refer to the MAP in the FAQ's section.
When is the next Harbor Island International Beer Festival?
Saturday September 23, 2017. Tastings are from 1-5 PM for General Admission ticket holders and Noon-5 PM for VIP and Brewmaster Reserve ticket holders.

Tickets are first made available to previous years' HiiBF attendees and then offered to the general public. Ticket prices vary in price depending on the level of access they grant and how early the tickets were purchased. The earlier you buy tickets the less you pay. There is NO GUARANTEE that there will be tickets available and guests are encouraged to purchase tickets online as soon as possible to reserve their place at this event. Last year, HiiBF SOLD OUT.
Are children allowed to attend?
Children may attend so long as they are accompanied by an adult during the festival. No one under the age of 21 will be allowed to consume alcohol. Designated Drivers may accompany ticket holders but are restricted from tasting and consuming alcohol. Any Designated Driver ticket holder found consuming alcohol within the event, as determined by management, will be asked to leave the facility without refund and may be subject to further consequences. All other attendees must be 21+ years old with a valid photo ID to attend the festival and consume alcohol.
When should I arrive at the check-in line to ensure I have plenty of time to taste?
Arriving 30 to 45 minutes prior to your entry time will ensure you have the most time to enjoy the tastings. VIP and Brewmaster Reserve ticket holders may enter the festival at 12 noon and should arrive at 11:15AM to allow security to check your ID and ticket and provide you with a beer and cider tasting bracelet. General Admission ticket holders may enter the festival at 1PM and should arrive at 12:15PM to allow security to check your ID and ticket and provide you with a beer and cider tasting bracelet. Extra security and staff will be on hand to speed the check-in process. Please have your printed ticket or your phone with your Eventbrite downloaded digital ticket along with your driver's License or a Passport. We must verify that all guests are 21 years of age or older before presenting them with tasting credentials and this will inevitably take some time. The festival grounds will be open early, however breweries will not be permitted to distribute samples prior to the designated times.
What time does the festival end?
The festival ends promptly at 5PM. All samplings and tastings stop promptly at 4:45PM.
Will there be any Ciders or Hard Sodas?
Of course! Every year Harbor Island International Beer Festival also features some of the world's best Ciders and the latest in Hard Sodas. Free water stations are located throughout the festival.

Will gluten-free beers be available?
A small selection of gluten-free beers will be available for sampling.
Should I drive or take public transportation?
TAKE THE TRAIN! Harbor Island Park is reachable via the Metro North Railroad and is just 40 minutes from Grand Central and 30 minutes from Stamford, CT. From the Mamaroneck train station, it's just a ten to fifteen-minute walk to the Harbor Island Park. The Mamaroneck train station is accessible from Metro North service on the New Haven line. Once off the train, head east along Mamaroneck Avenue until you intersect with Boston Post Road which runs north and south. Harbor Island Park is located at this intersection. Additionally, public transportation and taxi service is available in the area. Designated driver tickets are available for purchase; however, parking is extremely limited.

Do you sell a Designated Driver ticket?
Yes, Designated Driver tickets are available for $25 each. Designated Drivers are welcome to attend, walk around the festival and are restricted from consuming alcohol during the festival. Complimentary water is available to all Designated Driver ticket holders. Any Designated Driver ticket holder found consuming alcohol within the event, as determined by management, will be asked to leave the facility without refund and may be subject to further consequences.
Will there be enough beer?
YES. The HiiBF buying staff ensures all festival goers will have enough beer and cider to sample. Only a few breweries ran out of their most popular or exclusive beer or cider as the festival carried on. This is standard and should just be motivation to arrive early and scope out the attending vendors to decide what you want to try the most!
What are the Festival Ticket and Tasting Credential requirements?
Proper HiiBF bracelet credentials are required to sample beer. No samples will be provided to any guest without a bracelet. Guests should keep their printed or digital tickets on their person for the duration of the festival to eliminate any possible misunderstandings. Tampering with, trading or selling credentials immediately voids their validity and guests found in possession of such credentials will be asked to leave immediately.
What happens if it rains?
RAIN OR SHINE the event takes place each year under the Big Tents!
Over 65,000 square feet of tenting will be erected to keep festival goers dry during the tastings.
Will there be food and is it included in the price of the ticket?
Local and regional creative New York food vendors will be available for purchase. Check the HiiBF website FOOD link for a current listing of this year's attendees. The complete list of Food Vendors is typically posted no later than two weeks of the September 23, 2017 festival date.
All guests of the Harbor Island International Beer Festival are expected to taste responsibly and ensure they have a safe, responsible means of transportation before leaving the facility. The goal of the Harbor Island International Beer Festival is to allow attendees to taste a variety of brands and different styles of beer and discover a new favorite beer or style. Tasting Samples are poured in one to two-ounce tasting portions. Any guest who is intoxicated before entering the event will be denied entry to the facility and all events relating to the Harbor Island International Beer Festival. Any guest found intoxicated within the event and or causing a disturbance, as determined by management, will be asked to leave the facility without refund and may be subject to further consequences.
What items are not allowed?
Prohibited items include, but are not limited to:
Outside alcohol, food, beverages
Weapons (i.e. knives, pepper spray, stun-guns, any concealed weapons, firearms, fireworks, smoke bombs etc.)
Illegal drugs, chemicals, etc.
Backpacks, suitcases, large beach bags, etc.
Skateboards, roller skates, ice skates, use of roller shoes, etc.
Unapproved pamphlets, handouts, advertisements, etc. (see “Marketing”)
Other items as determined by facility management
Event management reserves the right to handle each occurrence on a case by case basis. Depending on the item, the guest may either be asked to remove the item from the facility or dispose of the item, or may be ejected from the facility. All bags, jackets, and guests are subject to search upon entering the event. Items which have varying policies include: cameras, video/audio recording equipment and signs/flags/banners/posters. Any item may be deemed to be prohibited if deemed to be dangerous and/or causing a disturbance by management or security.
All HiiBF festival goers are expected to drink responsibly and ensure they have a safe, responsible means of transportation before leaving the Harbor Island Park. Any guest who is intoxicated before entering the event may be denied entry to the facility. Any guest found intoxicated within the event and causing a disturbance, as determined by management, will be asked to leave the facility without refund and may be subject to further consequences.
Unauthorized Marketing Materials
No unauthorized marketing will be allowed at the Harbor Island International Beer Festival. This includes, but is not limited to:
Unauthorized distribution of marketing materials, invitations to after parties, literature, business cards, flyers, handouts, pamphlets, other written forms, etc.
No Commercial Advertising such as signs, flags, banners, posters, etc.
All cases are subject to review and decision by event management. Guests found to be marketing as determined by management may be subject to ejection and asked to collect all pieces of marketing handed out and dispose of them in the trash or recycling and subject to being billed for cleanup costs.
