On Tuesday evening, September 19, you are invited to join Out Professionals Members and friends at Salmagundi Club, since 1871 a center for American representational art. For one night only, the club’s main gallery will house art by the award-winning artist Anthony Santomauro.
Anthony Santomauro is a Member Artist of the Salmagundi Club, where Members have included Childe Hassam, Reginald Marsh, Norman Rockwell, N.C. Wyeth and Gibson Girl creator Charles Dana Gibson. The club’s honorary members have included Sir Winston Churchill, Buckminster Fuller, Paul Cadmus and Al Hirschfeld.
The Italianate 1853 brownstone that houses Salmagundi Club was designated a historical landmark by the New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission in 1969. In 1975 it was added to the National Register of Historic Places.

Anthony Santomauro works in pastels and acrylics. He is the recipient of prestigious awards from South Carolina’s Sumter Artists Guild, Connecticut Classic Arts, Silvermine School of Art and the Salmagundi Club, where is is a Member Artist. Anthony is a former board member and officer of Salmagundi Club, a member of Easton Arts Council and a Member of Out Professionals.
