Join the Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland (ARLGP) for Maine's only dog-friendly beer festival, Ales For Tails! Ales For Tails is an afternoon of locally-brewed beers, food truck delicacies, socializing with humans and partaking in activities with canine friends. Blake & Eva from the Coast 93.1 morning show will be on-hand, broadcasting live with awesome music and giveaways galore! Visit vendors for lots of freebies, and visit food trucks Farm to Coast, PB & ME, Thainy Boda, Urban Sugar, Maine-ly Meatballs, and Cannoli Joe's.
18 Breweries in attendance include: Allagash Brewing Company, Atlantic Brewing Company, Austin Street Brewery, Banded Horn Brewing, Barreled Souls Brewing Co, Baxter Brewing Company, Dirigo Brewing Company, Fore River Brewing Company, Foulmouthed Brewing, Foundation Brewing Company, Funky Bow Brewery, DL Geary Brewing Company, Gritty McDuff’s Brewing Company, Island Dog Brewing, Mast Landing, One Eye Brewing, Sebago Brewing Company, Shipyard Brewing Company,and Strong Brewing Company. Local, delicious non-alcoholic beverages will be provided by Green Bee Craft Beverages and Capt'n Eli's Soda. And, our friends at the Congress Street Starbucks will be whipping up foamy puppachinos for our four-legged guests.
Each admission include tasting tickets for the brewer booths. Well-behaved, leashed dogs are welcome (and encouraged!) to attend at no additional cost. Pre-purchased tickets are $30 per person. Thompson's Point charges $5 per car for parking, please be prepared for this additional fee. PLEASE NOTE: our 2016 Ales for Tails SOLD OUT in advance. Pre-purchasing your ticket is strongly encouraged.
All money raised will directly support the 4,000+ homeless and displaced animals the Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland cares for every year. So, grab your four-legged best friend, your family and friends and support a furry-good cause at Ales for Tails.

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
IDs will be checked at the door and bracelets will be provided to those 21 and older. Ticket holders under the age of 21 are welcome to enjoy the non-alcoholic features of the event. The ARLGP strictly abides by Maine State Liquor Laws.
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
We encourage you to take public transportation or car pool if possible. Thompson's Point charges $5 per car that parks at the venue. Other options include:

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Please keep your ticket handy, either on the Eventbrite app or by printing it out and bringing it with you to the event. We must scan your ticket for your admittance.
What is the refund policy?
Sorry, no refunds will be issued for this event. This is a rain-or-shine event. In the event that you cannot attend, your ticket cost will still support the ARLGP’s life-saving programs.
My friend wants to come but isn't sure he/she can make it. Can she put a ticket on hold?
No tickets can be placed on hold or reserved. A limited number of tickets will be available to purchase at the door for $50 each. Pre-purchasing your ticket online is encouraged.
