Hosted in Richmond, VA, in the historic neighborhood of Church Hill, the Whole Gospel Whole City Conference is for leaders, staff and volunteers in Christian non-profits and churches serving in the urban context; people who often encounter the challenges of generational poverty and serve in these diverse settings. We understand the urgency of understanding how justice, mercy and evangelism belong in the same conversation and how Jesus and the power of God are always necessary for lasting Kingdom breakthrough.
One of the greatest challenges in doing urban ministry is there are so few places where you can go to receive practical training, inspiration, investment...and to be around people doing this similar kind of Kingdom work. This is the first time we've done this one-day training event and it is in direct response to not having options to send our staff teams that we felt was contextual to their everyday challenges, triumphs, trials and trevails.
And for this inaugural training, the whole event is FREE of charge!!!
This will be a way to invest in your team through practical training and discussion so they improve and hone their skills, while also caring for their souls so they stay in the game and run the race of faith well. It'll have a combination of main sessions, breakout sessions, informal time, stories of breakthrough, table discussions, worship and prayer, and time in it set aside specifically for Executive Directors. All of this will be done through the lens of making it practical.
Below, youll find a list of the schedule for the day, breakout options and details. We hope you'll join us!
