Finland100 and Scandinavia House join together for an all day festival in celebration of Finnish culture through film, music, art, and children’s activities.

Independent Visions: Helene Schjerfbeck and Her Contemporaries 12 pm – 6 pm
From the Collection of Ateneum, Finnish National Gallery. Fifty-five works by four female artists practicing in Finland during a period of cultural transformation. Join one of the two guided tours at 12:00 pm and 3:30 pm.
Finn Fun for Children & The Whole Family12 pm – 1 pm
Start your day by crafting traditional Finnish ornaments and dancing to musical games.
Award-Winning Movie Born in Heinola (Teit Meistä Kauniin)1 pm – 3 pm
People's Choice Award movie 2016, directed by Tuukka Temonen. The story of a teenage rock band and Finnish life in the 1990s. The film will be followed by a meet-and-greet with Amanda Young, who is portrayed in the film as a young woman.
