Please join us as the South-Central Coast Older Adult Behavioral Health Initiative presents Healthy Aging through Integrated Services. This conference will be provider focused and touch on the many behavioral health challenges faced by the growing aging population. Topics will include a variety of useful interventions, how to integrate medical and behavioral health care for the older adult population, and best practices for alternative treatment methods. CEUs and CMEs from Bay Area Hospital will be available.
Speaker lineup: Maureen Nash, MD, MS, FAPA, FACP, Providence ElderPlace Oregon Medical Director to give a talk focused on integrated medical and behavioral health care for older adults, Nirmala Dhar, LCSW, Oregon Health Authority Older Adult Behavioral Health Coordinator to present on building relationships between aging services and healthcare providers, and Paul Coelho, MD, Salem Hospital Pain Management Specialist to present on chronic pain and opioid reduction for older adults.
Breakfast will be served at 8:30 AM with the first speaker starting at 9AM.
