Doors open at 5:45pm and open house starts promptly at 6pm.
This is an open house for parents/guardians with a current 5th grade child. Due to demand, we ask that only one adult accompanies your child (no siblings please). Children do not have to attend, and attendance at an open house is not a requirement for admission. A visit does not give you any advantage in the admissions process.
This is an opportunity to attend an open house with your 5th grader. We are an expanding 6-12 school, with 6-11th graders currently at Clinton.
Our academic program is built around the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, for which we are a candidate. Students complete the Regents required for their NYS high school diploma in 9th and 10th grades. This allows students to participate in the IB Diploma Programme in 11th and 12th grades. The IB Diploma Programme is an academically and developmentally challenging curriculum, and it is used around the world. For more information, see http://www.ibo.org/programmes/diploma-programme/

Admissions Process- please read carefully!
We are a D2 Choice School, and follow the process as per the Office of Enrollment. We will select students from the available pool of those who rank us first.
From the general education students who rank us first, we will invite in four times the number of seats we have, or about 400 students. We will do the same for students with ICT or Self-Contained support, or about 50 students.
We will decide how to invite those students based on the below percentages:
Please note that some students will not be invited in, only the top 400/50. Once invited in, students will do an in-person math assessment, writing assessment and interview. Students' scores will be ADDED to the original total in the following percentages:
You do not need to email anyone if you decide to cancel.
PLEASE NOTE: Students will meet with students, and parents will meet with parents. If you will need to leave by a certain time, please tell your child what time he/she needs to meet you in the lobby before the event.
