Timoni West, Head of Authoring Tools at Unity Labs, Unity
Timoni leads the immersive Authoring Tools group in Unity Labs, a team of cross-disciplinary artists and engineers exploring new interfaces for human-computer interaction. Labs’ first project, EditorVR, was introduced at Vision Summit in February 2016 and released in December. Before Unity, Timoni was SVP of Design at Alphaworks, and cofounder & creative director of Department of Design. She's worked at startups across the country, including Foursquare, Flickr, and Betaworks. Timoni also mentors and advises new AR/VR startups in the Bay area.
Daniel Padgett, Conversation Design Lead, Google
Daniel is a Conversation Design Lead for Google Assistant, creating engaging user experiences for Home, Pixel, Wear, and more. For the past 15 years, he has been leveraging language technologies to develop user-centered solutions for major brands like Allstate, Nike, Target, and Cisco. Just prior to Google, he led service design efforts as Director of Customer Service Experience at Walgreens, deploying proactive and personalized contact solutions for roughly 100 million customers at more than 8200 stores.
Tikva Morowati, Independent Design & Product Owner
Tikva works with startups and established companies to develop new human-to-human-centered products, services and spaces with her expertise designing across software, hardware and the built environment. She established Google’s futuristic workspace design and prototyping effort within the physical environment and augmented reality; she oversaw design and development of new mobile products and social experiences for third party brands like Nike at Facebook; and she’s worked with dozens of startups to define and design their launch products, most notably while at New York’s new product design shop, Charming Robot. She was also the director and curator at Ignite NYC, designed sonic navigation interfaces while at New York University's Interactive Telecommunications Program and made films while at NYU’s Film School. Stefan Andrizzi, Creative Director Alexa Voice, Amazon Devices and Services
Stefan has a great deal of experience understanding how users interact with products and devices while working at Method, Google and now Amazon. He is endlessly curious about process and team dynamics — how teams can constantly improve at working together towards building something great. Within the product design discipline, he is rigorous in his efforts to blend craftsmanship and technology to make products that change behaviors and delight customers. Stefan functions fluently across strategy, planning, interaction and visual design to promote a hybrid approach to product development.
