We will have a photobooth area setup where your whole family can get a picture taken with Moana and Maui and/or the D.C. Hula Girls. We will have optional Moana theme Goody bags for the kids.
6-7:30PM: BUFFET DINNER
The buffet line will be open at 6pm when doors open and will stay open during the show. Enjoy delicous island cuisine home cooked by our dancers. Typically called a hawaiian plate lunch, we will have a few options for you to customize your plate and a few add on options if you want more.
• Kalua pig OR coconut shrimp
• Rice OR dinner roll
• Mac salad OR green salad
• Butter Mochi dessert
• Water bottle
7:30-8:30PM: THE MAIN EVENT
Lovely hula maidens will tell a story with their hands, Tahitian dancers will move to the beat of the drums, and fire spinners will have you gripping the edge of your seat! Our show is an hour long and includes a dance lesson and other interactive segments for the audience to enjoy. Kids will especially love to get up for a sing-a-long with Moana and Maui! Don’t miss out on this one of a kind show that is fun for the whole family.
8:30PM SUNSET FIRE FINALE:
The Samoan fire knife dance is famous and will be part of the finale to our show! We are excited to have THREE types of fire dancing in our show.
PARKING: There is plenty of street parking in the neighborhood!
PICNIC STYLE: Bring your own lawn chair or blanket! The show is in the backyard and it is gated in. We will be in the grass. Food and vendors will be on the patio.
BRING CASH: Bring cash in case you want to buy something extra while you’re here. Burning Spear LLC is bringing their beautiful and unique island clothing for women and girls. Be sure to check out their booth!
GET YOUR TICKETS AHEAD OF TIME: Ticket prices increase at the door by $5 so get your tickets now! Also it really helps us to plan on how much food to cook, how many goody bags to make, etc. An entry ticket is required to come to the event and everything else is optional.
RESTROOMS: This is a private residence. They have kindly let us use their yard for our show. Please do not try to enter their home. You may see our dancers or workers going in and out. We are renting an outdoor restroom for public use. It will be stocked with toilet paper, baby wipes, clorox wipes, and hand sanitizer.
