Through hands-on practice, participants will learn how to put advocacy principles into action, including:
Conducting a focus group to improve programming, changing organizations and systems
Creating programs and interventions that meet victims’ needs
Participants will practice skills for effective crisis intervention and advocacy, problem solving and decision making around the toughest issues in advocacy work.
Refreshments and light lunch will be provided on all three training days.

What are my lodging options if I am attending from out of town?
You do not need to make your own reservation – the Alliance has secured a group of rooms at the AmericInn by Wyndham in Sartell. We are training in the same location! Simply indicate on the registration form which nights you require lodging and a reservation will be made on your behalf.
Additional benefits: The Alliance will pay $50 toward your lodging cost each night, and registrants will be responsible for the remaining $43/night plus tax.
A continental breakfast is available free of charge each morning.
What are my payment options?
Payment via credit card is preferred for this event.
If you need to pay via check, select "Pay by invoice" under Payment information on the registration page and an invoice will be generated and mailed to you for payment. Please keep in mind, registration payments are due one week before the event.
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Parking is available on site at the AmericInn by Wyndham
