Calling all Cheese Lovers: A Course on Curds
Saturday, Aug 4
11:00 AM - 1:30 PM
Among the most ancient of foods, cheese has been enjoyed for millennia. And for good reason. It’s deliciously rich, enormously satisfying and packed with nutrition. It’s also a quintessential party food and the perfect accompaniment to a glass of wine. In this class, we’ll celebrate the glories of cheese. Together we’ll make 1 or 2 of our very own fresh varieties, plus we’ll learn how to put together a stunning cheese board, explore wine and beer pairings, and enjoy an assortment of sweet and savory dishes featuring the delicious curds.
Adults of drinking age are welcome to bring their own alcoholic beverages to enjoy during the class, if desired. Suggested pairings: Sparkling wines, dry white wines, light or medium-bodied red wines, lager or pilsner beers, blonde or amber ales, etc.
