- India Gate war memorial or the National monument of India in Delhi, India was built in the memory of more than 90,000 Indian soldiers who lost their lives during Afghan Wars and World War I. - John Lennon Peace Monument was unveiled in Chavasse Park, Liverpool, England, by Cynthia and Julian Lennon, on October 9th 2010, to celebrate John Lennon's 70th Birthday. The monument is inscribed with the words "Peace on Earth for the Conservation of Life - In Honour of John Lennon 1940 - 1980".
