3Not a bad book, not a favorite...
By notabaldpainter
Good Night Oregon set a high standard (it's pretty cool) & Good Night Pennsylvania fell short...

I grew up in PA & was bummed to see how many things they left out (Washington's Crossing, for instance...) & some of what they included instead. We ordered Good Night Philadelphia to help get more historical landmarks, etc.. Also, it didn't seem as brightly colored as the Oregon book.

It's a big state & I'm sure it was hard to choose. Overall, we're glad to have it even if it's not the fav.

5Great little book
By Love the Lake
great little book. we have good night new jersey and good night new york and good night pennsylvania was just as fun. it has all of the highlights of life in pennsylvania and since we are new to the area, my grandson is looking forward to visiting most of them. it also will create an opportunity to talk about the life of the amish people when he gets older and all about independence hall, the liberty bell and the history surrounding it. the book is well made, sturdy and a great book to read before bedtime.

3A little short
By Ken
Not enough Pittsburgh love :-(
A lot shorter than some other books in the series. PA is huge, i'm sure there's plenty more that can be used to fill it up!
