The Fiskars 7-inch folding saw is an ideal choice for cutting through large tree branches. The fully-hardened stainless steel saw blade is 7-inches long, and has a triple-grind design to cut on the pull and push strokes. When not in use, the saw blade folds up and locks away for safe storage and easy transportation. The ergonomic handle features a soft over-molded grip for added comfort, making this tool an ideal choice for all-day personal or professional use.

1Would be very useful if it would stay open.

The pin that locks it open fell out as I opened the box. Poor quality makes me suspect it is not a genuine Fiskars product.

1I wound up being sufficiently disappointed with this saw
By Gina
Not very sharp and low grade steel. Fiskars used to be known for quality. I guess in the quest for lower cost they're using cheap materials. I wound up being sufficiently disappointed with this saw, that I went out and bought a proper pruning saw from the local Stihl dealer. Painfully expensive, but at least it's sharp.

5Fiskars Brand is always worth the little extra!
By Vetts&Stangs
Yes Fiskars Brand anything are indeed a little over priced. The question is I felt need answering was "I's it truly worth the extra $5.00 over the no-name brand" I believe so. I am a tight wad for sure, however we are hard on our gardening tools (We have 16 30x60 gardens) and are always willing to spend that little extra on any Fiskars brand as they truly are worth the extra cash every time. This hand saw has been put threw it's paces since day 1, it has cut down at least 60 White Birch Trees all between 4inches - 8inches in diameter along with many roots. She keeps going strong with a ton of life left in her.
