KANSAS CITY, MO - (CBS2/FOX28) It may seem that texting Merry Christmas or hitting the like button on someone's Facebook birthday message is now the popular way to extend well wishes, but somebody is still sending out more than 6 Billion greeting cards every year! A big share of those come from the city we're visiting all this week. Joyce Hall was ahead of his time in so many ways. First he noticed the popularity of post cards and started his own company. Then after moving to Kansas City he proposed an idea that was revolutionary for its time. He wanted to build a Hallmark greeting card campus. Not just a company headquarters, but a place surrounded by entertainment, food and shopping for his employees and everyone else. Our ROAD TRIPPIN' adventure continues to check out his dream come true and a part of town where everyone wears a crown!
