MurreeÂ (Punjabi,Â Urdu:Â Ù Ø±Ûâ, "marÄ«", meaning "apex") is an exurb ofÂ IslamabadÂ and the administrative centre ofÂ Murree Tehsil, in thePunjabÂ province inÂ Pakistan. It is in a subdivision ofÂ Rawalpindi DistrictÂ and includes the parts of theÂ Margalla HillsaroundÂ Islamabad. It is located in theÂ Pir Panjal Range, some 60Â km (37Â mi) northeast ofÂ IslamabadÂ andÂ RawalpindiÂ via theÂ Murree Road.
